Our Business Views enable the graphical representation and assessment of important business processes. A Business View represents a business process. It is displayed using user-defined icons and convenient color-coding to show the correlated status across different priority levels. Status information from the IT infrastructure and additional business-relevant process data (e.g. from ERP systems) are monitored in real-time by means of rule-based status correlation features. Individual Business Views can in turn be correlated in higher-level Business Views. This not only allows you to elucidate complex interrelations, but also to keep maintenance efforts in check. You will be able to monitor your networks, systems, applications, and ERP processes and determine their availability from a "single point of control".
The objective is to provide both managers and business users as well as IT professionals with relevant views. This is achieved by means of the role-based user model. Business users can access status information on relevant processes at all times. System and network administrators benefit from detailed views that are complemented by additional fault analysis tools (integrated root cause analysis).
System administration and support employees can also access more detailed information on their issues of concern according to their respective roles or authorizations. They can take full advantage of the features delivered by the other theGuard! software products – such as theGuard! NetworkManager and theGuard! ApplicationManager – to satisfy their analysis requirements.
Support employees are given access to business process data allowing them to respond to support requests more efficiently and to handle errors more quickly and reliably. Optionally, it is also possible to integrate third-party products into this concept.
