Transparent integration of external application data

 

theGuard! Service Management Center's Business Process Monitoring is based on a new correlation technology that prevents floods of events that have been all too common in the past. In addition to system, network, and application data, information from external sources such as ERP, CRM, SRM, or other applications can be taken into consideration for effective Business Process Management. With the appropriate organizational and technical framework in place, it is possible to, for example, represent and monitor SAP transaction data in your Business Process Management.

This external data is converted by means of a standardized WEB Service interface. This allows you not only to include existing status information, but also to import external values and to assess them against threshold definitions. In any case, a defined status will be generated for each characteristic that can then be processed in any number of Business Views.

Thanks to this universal interface, companies can deploy theGuard! Service Management Center in all divisions and departments. The software can take into account and analyze all relevant parameters of a business process thus providing a transparent, comprehensive, and seamless Business Process Management system. Adherence to predefined service levels can be verified for individual business processes and the objects that affect them.
 
The spectrum of data that can influence the status of business processes is thus unlimited. It is possible to visualize, assess, and report technical as well as commercial or logistics business processes.
