Service Management Center. The comprehensive package solution for integrated IT management was enhanced with a range of new features such as the additions to expand the end-to-end monitoring of process chains.
It now includes Plug & Play GUI bots that greatly facilitate the end-to-end monitoring of applications. In only a few steps, users can set up an instance that simulates the behavior of a user working with an application. This allows for the continuous monitoring of important processes from a user's perspective. The collected data is then used for business process and business service management purposes, enabling the end-to-end monitoring of a business process. Companies can then determine the availability of their business processes by analyzing their infrastructure data along with the performance of their applications.
The Plug & Play GUI bots are preconfigured appliances that only have to be set up as application users, eliminating the need for complex local configurations such as setting the screen resolution for every single application. This speeds up the installation and the integration with the company's process monitoring activities. Multiple distributed appliances can be managed from a single point of control, which reduces administrative hassles to a minimum. Customers who prefer to implement the end-to-end monitoring on their own hardware can opt for the software version of the GUI bots.
