REALTECH announces new corporate structure

The software and the consulting division will be managed as separate companies, which enables them to better focus on their core business and accommodates their expansion plans.

Walldorf, March 16, 2009 - With effect from April 1, 2009, REALTECH, an international software and consulting firm, will adopt a new legal structure. As a consequence, REALTECH AG will then serve as the holding company for the various foreign and domestic subsidiaries.

Previously, REALTECH system consulting GmbH was in charge of the German business of REALTECH AG and comprised the business divisions "SAP Consulting" and "Software Products". Two years ago, these divisions were separated into independent business units under the umbrella of REALTECH system consulting GmbH. On April 1, 2009, they will become independent companies.

"REALTECH Consulting GmbH" will be in charge of the SAP consulting business while "REALTECH Software Products GmbH" will focus on the development and distribution of its software solutions. Both companies will be supported by "REALTECH Services GmbH". It will provide central services such as finance, human resources, IT services, and marketing. All employees of the current REALTECH companies will continue to be employed by the new companies.

The new structure will better support the objectives of the respective operative units. This clear organizational structure will enable the individual companies to pursue their own business objectives and to fully align their activities with those objectives. The German REALTECH Consulting GmbH, for example, focuses on expanding its consulting business in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). REALTECH Software Products GmbH is committed to worldwide growth and to boosting the sales of its entire portfolio of software solutions, even beyond the SAP market.

"The new organizational structure of REALTECH allows us to really focus the attention of the newly created companies on their core business activities. The positive results seen over the past two years have shown that this is the right way to go," said Nicola Glowinski, CEO of REALTECH AG.
