innovative software for the automatic synchronization of distributed SAP environments. REALTECH's SyncAssist allows companies to synchronize the software versions in their SAP project and production landscapes and supports them in performing release upgrades.
In today's IT environments, more and more SAP customers use a two-system project landscape in addition to their existing three-system landscape. This project landscape is comprised of a development and a quality assurance system. New developments are carried out and tested on these two systems. In order to ensure the smooth transfer of new developments to production operation it is crucial to ensure the consistency of the software versions in both system environments. If performed manually, the synchronization of data is a labor-intensive and error prone process that ties up valuable development and administration resources. A software solution able to solve this problem in an elegant and user-friendly way was previously unavailable on the market.
REALTECH is now closing this gap with its newly developed SyncAssist software. It allows companies to automate and secure the synchronization process between SAP environments. If changes are made in the three-system landscapes, SyncAssist will automatically receive the corresponding list of objects. The software will then automatically classify the individual objects in the list. Non-critical objects will be automatically included in the project environment by SyncAssist. A user interface that displays a split screen to visualize the differences facilitates the manual synchronization of critical objects. This status tracking capability ensures maximum process control and efficiency.
