REALTECH AG: Provisional half-year and quarterly figures for 2005
Walldorf, July 22, 2005. REALTECH AG’s revenue increased in the 1st half of 2005 by 5% to EUR 24.1 million (1st half of 2004: EUR 22.9 million). This included a 10% increase in software revenue to EUR 4.9 million (EUR 4.5 million) and a 5% increase in consulting revenue to EUR 19.3 million (EUR 18.4 million).
EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) increased to EUR 0.6 million (EUR 0.3 million) while EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) rose to minus EUR 0.2 million (minus EUR 0.8 million).
Net income amounted to minus EUR 0.1 million (minus EUR 0.8 million), while earnings per share were minus EUR 0.01 (minus EUR 0.15). The company achieved a cash flow of EUR 1.7 million (EUR 1.6 million). At the end of June 2005, net cash and cash equivalents stood at EUR 23.2 million, compared with EUR 21.4 million at the end of 2004 and EUR 21.0 million at the end of last June.
2nd quarter of 2005: Revenue increased 7% to EUR 12.5 million (2nd quarter of 2004: EUR 11.7 million). Software revenue increased by 8% to EUR 2.5 million (EUR 2.3 million). An increase on last year’s figure was also seen in terms of consulting revenue, which rose 7% from EUR 9.4 million to EUR 10.0 million.
EBITDA and EBIT were both improved, to EUR 0.8 million (EUR 0.3 million) and EUR 0.4 million (minus EUR 0.3 million) respectively. Net income increased to EUR 0.4 million (minus EUR 0.2 million), corresponding to earnings per share of EUR 0.07 (minus EUR 0.04).
