Walldorf, August 24, 2001 Roland Weishaupt, Sales and Marketing Board Member of REALTECH AG, has decided to resign from his office as Board Member on August 31, 2001 and will, at this request, leave the company at this date. He continues to be available for REALTECH AG as an advisor.
Simultaneously, the Supervisory Board appoints the Manager Finance of REALTECH AG Michael Knopp to the Management Board as Chief Financial Officer.
Daniele Di Croce, spokesperson for the Management Board and present Chief Financial Officer, will immediately take over the Sales and Marketing department.
In addition, Peter Stier, co-founder of REALTECH AG, will leave the Board of Directors at the end of the year. Peter Stier will retain close ties with the company and intends to put forward his candidature for election onto the Supervisory Board at the next General Meeting.
These changes conclude the restructuring commenced in 2000 in order to establish an adequate organization within the REALTECH Group.
